"Though it costs all you have, get understanding."

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What are the unique strengths of your program?

A: We focus on strengths to improve as individuals and remove weaknesses.  Such improvement leads to improved performance and achieving maximum potential.  Improvement is evidenced in improved relationships, better morale and self understanding.

Q: Our organization is very value oriented.  Does your approach make good business sense?

A: Yes!  People are a business's best asset, and investing in their success improves the bottom line effectively.

Q:  How long are your programs?
A:  My keynote presentation is 45-90 minutes in length. (I prefer 60-75 minutes.)  Half day and full day programs are also available, as are two and three-day programs that can be crafted to fit most situations. Realizing that meetings sometimes “run over,” I am skilled at adapting my remarks to get you back on track to meet your schedule.

Q:  Can you conduct interactive programs?

A:  I thrive on interaction with my audience!  And I am skilled at introducing that interaction.   The questions and comments are inspiration for me and for others in the audience.  Such a setting helps everyone realize that they share common questions and goals.  More help is given through interaction than didactic instruction.

Q:  Do you customize your programs?

A:  Absolutely!  I will discuss the event with you well in advance to determine your group’s unique character and needs.  The principles will be so presented as to best achieve your goals for the event.  My goal is for each person to feel that I am speaking to her, or his, issues.  The most common question that I am asked is:  How did you know that about me?  Although each of us is different, with an understanding of the innerkinetics of the different temperaments, I can achieve this.

Q:  What about diversity of groups you address?

A:  The principles are universal and apply to people in all cultures because they relate to mankind in the most basic way and relate no matter the background.  I have spoken to diverse audiences and to different cultures internationally.

Q:  How can you help us to make our event unique?

A: Pre-event discussions will help us arrive at fresh and vibrant ways to reach the needs of people.  From my experience, I can often suggest new approaches.  However, question and answer sessions and one-on-one sessions are some of the many possibilities.  I often give an opening keynote and then take questions from the audience.  An alternative might be to conduct a panel with key members of the audience.

Q:  Why is a book signing after your presentation such an advantage?

A:  A book signing provides a setting in which to connect one-on-one with the participants.  They have the opportunity to express how they identified with the presentation and verbalize what they have internalized as a result of the experience.  It is a further opportunity for me to encourage them on a personal level, and in such a way that they are incited to action and to achievement.  I love the one-on-one interaction.  In addition, a portion of the profits from the book sales will be donated to your chosen charity.

Q:  What type of groups, businesses or organizations do you present your programs to?

A: Our courses are presented for professional groups as well as small and large non-professional groups of individuals who may come together for a specific common interest; church groups; and even university groups.  We have not found a group for whom we would not welcome the opportunity to share these life-changing insights or for whom our programs could not be well tailored and well received.

Q:  What denominations do you work with, if any?

A:  We welcome the opportunity to work with all denominations.  We also welcome individual representatives of organizations interested in learning more about our services to attend one of our courses as our guest.  Please contact us for more information and/or to arrange for such an invitation.

Q:  Where do you present your programs?

A:  Our courses are most often conducted in Colorado.  However, we do offer them in others states of the USA and have conducted them internationally as far away as New Zealand and Australia.

Q:  When do you present your programs?

A:  Course dates and times are determined by the sponsoring organization or group and our availability.  The calendar on our web site is a good place to determine a time and location convenient for you to attend an event that is already scheduled. It is also a good starting place to determine our possible availability prior to requesting a date for your group.  Other methods of determining dates and times: 1) You may join our e-mail list to receive periodic notices of courses scheduled; and 2) You may schedule a course specifically for your own organization or group.  Just contact us at 720-271-1221 or at info@RayWLincoln.com.
